- >A LITTLE ABOUT THE TOWN ITSELF:
- Kas= Ancient ruins at every corner you turn, fabulous turquoise seas, sun, fine cuisine and a very inclusive feel where you are not made to feel like a foreigner.
- Must places: Sunken city of Kekova; mountains (7 km from Kas and part of the renowned LYCIAN TRAIL); Patara beach (birth place of St. Nicholas aka SANTA CLAUS) and the town; picturesque Kaputas beach, Saklikent GORGE. Excellent shopping facilities in Fethiye and particularly in Antalya (2-3 hrs drive away fr Kas).
- Activities: Sea-kayaking (Limanagzi beach and Kekova are ideal places for this), trekking, mountain biking, scuba diving, snorkelling, paragliding, walking the Lycian trail, river rafting in ice cold waters of Karacay at Saklikent, visiting the Greek island of Kastellorizo film set of 'Mediterraneo', seeing the rock flames (due to sulpher gases) at Cirali near Olympos.
