Buying property in Turkey is a pretty straight forward procedure: Once you find the property you
want to purchase, we arrange an official sales agreement-in front of a notary-between the buyer
and seller.
This agreement means that you can move into your property
straight away. Following this, within 3-8 weeks you receive your 'tapu' proof of ownership. This
3-8 weeks period is the time required to complete military checks-that your property is not
located within a particular distance of military sites or strategically important areas. Every
non Turkish buyer has to go through this procedure but it really is not complicated nor difficult.
We provide official translations and we have a consultant lawyer that we have been working for
